FESTIVAL INFORMATION AND SECTIONS
The films that pass the preselection stage will be placed in one of six different categories, at the discretion of the selection committee . Of these six categories , two are racing . Considered for the competition and / or participation all formats .
HUMANITARIAN AWARD
Known as UNICEF Prize to 2011, this is awarded to national or international media production dedicated to children and young people considering mainly those films that emphasize ethical values ​​and human rights , as the Convention on the rights of children .
CREATIVE AWARD
In 2002 the Festival Internacional de Barcelona flat ( FITB ) - name preceding the International Festival of Audiovisual Barcelona ( IFLA) - added new section giving this award created that movie or short made ​​national or international for young students in the audiovisual dedicated to children and youth.
CHILDREN'S GRILL
A sample of achievements made ​​by " our players " : groups of children around the world who have created their own films.
THE OTHER CHILDREN
This space is dedicated to those accomplishments that show not only the past and present difficulties for children in the third world , which are often unknown and provide a picture complacent , but their desires and efforts to achieve a better childhood .
SURPRISES
This section shows the production of thematic channels , broadcasters , production companies , independent producers and other festivals that work the theme of quality children . Animation , short films , series , educational programs , children's news ... all formats are welcome .
PROFESSIONAL AREA
Fruit of the agreement between the OETI and the Professional Association of Catalonia Broadcasting ( CPAC ) . This aims to be a space where audiovisual professionals can have a meeting to show and discuss their work .
